As the temperature difference between the top and bottom base plates increases, the engine begins to turn. To run the Stirling Engline from hand temperature of  36 - 37° C (97 - 99 °F) , the surrounding temperature  needs to be around 10 -15 ° C (50 - 60 °F). In warmer ambient temperatures the bottom base plate can be heated over a cup of coffee

  • Suitable for a child over 8 with adult supervision or over 14 without supervision.
  • Not suitable for under 3's due to small parts.
