Certified fire rating

The LUMiLife Fire Rated fittings are 30/60/90 minutes certified fire rating and also complies with Part B Fire Safety Regulation Complies with UK Building Regulations (BS 476 Part 21 & 22:1997). This GU10 fitting has been designed to ensure maximum safety and prevent fire from penetrating the ceiling void, floors or loft space above.

With the new and updated GU10 fitting, the quick connector is included to make installation even easier. The connector gives you easy access with large terminals and fast connection. Also, our GU10 fittings are fitted with a Class 2 (double) insulated cable

What does IP rating mean?

The numbers that follow IP each have a meaning. The first number indicates the degree of protection (of people) from moving parts, as well as the protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies. The second number defines the protection level that the fixture allows from various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion). This particular unit is IP54 rated and not be used outside or rooms with high levels of moisture.
